Mme Aude Sturny-Leclère

Aude Sturny-Leclère is a Research Engineer at Institut Pasteur involved in multiple research projects, on Cryptococcus neoformans and Histoplasma spp.. She is particularly involved in the development of new diagnostic methods to improve the diagnosis of fungal pathogens. 

She joined as volunteer the Task Force Ebola (2015) in Macenta (Guinea Conakry) and the Task Force Zika (2016) in Cayenne (French Guiana) to support the local laboratory staff. Since 2016, she has been involved in the DREAMM project as laboratory lead to train the lab technicians in rapid diagnostic tests and basic techniques in microbiology and mycology.

Recently, she is doing evaluation and implementation of new diagnostic tools for the diagnosis of histoplasmosis.
