Prof Sayoki Mfinanga is a global health and clinical research expert. He is a Director and Chief Research Scientist for the National Institute of Medical Research (NIMR) in Tanzania. He has led high-impact, multi-centre trials that have impacted national and global policy, particularly tuberculosis and HIV. He supervises and mentors fellows and holds academic honorary positions at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences, and Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology, Tanzania.
