Dr Cecilia Kanyama is an internal medicine physician and infectious diseases researcher with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine’s UNC Project-Malawi. She is also an honorary lecture with the Kamuzu college of Health sciences. Her major interest is in cryptococcal meningitis and tuberculosis clinical research and treatment, and she is a leader in implementation science in this field.
