Mr Chimwemwe Chawinga

Mr Chimwemwe Chawinga is a Clinician by profession with a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Bachelors of Arts in Healthy Systems management, and is a study coordinator for University of North Carolina Project in Malawi. His achievements include coordinating many studies, including ACTA, AMBITION, and DREAMM. He is known as ‘Mr Meningitis’ by colleagues as his failure rate in performing lumber punctures is zero. His goals are to improve health standards and implementation of clinical research. He hopes to further enhance his career in clinical research and infectious diseases by upgrading through professional courses and further research experience, especially in Meningitis.
